Sculpting a Mother holding a Baby

I built this based on David Lemon's Instructional DVD - Creating a Female Figure holding and Baby (link below).

I watched the DVD a few times. Then I sketched up the figure in my ceramic art diary to help me get my head around the silhouette and how I was going to proceed building the piece with porcelain.
