A fermentation crock is a stoneware pot designed to hold cabbage and vegetables as they ferment. It can be great for making sauerkraut, kombucha, kimchi etc. This fermentation crock features ceramic weights (to keep fermenting food submerged), and a 'water lock' rim - to help keep foods fermenting well under a 'water lock'.
Here is some additional information on fermentation (HERE) - however please do your own research to understand the process and requirements for these foods. This item is for the pot as description states, not for recipes etc or how to ferment foods.
This fermentation crock features a 'Big Mama' themed design. It is striking, large and has a powerful presence. It has a large 5 litre holding capacity. Includes 'weights' and the lid can be used as a bowl.
