*TERRACOTTA TALISMAN* hand crafted ceramic pendant
handmade with terracotta and porcelain clay
Zodiac Symbol - Aries - March 21 - April 19
This piece was handmade with Terracotta clay, then painting over that with white slip (white clay) and scratched into by hand using a technique called sgraffito. It has been fired at bisque, and then at earthenware firing - as per usual with this sort of clay. It has been finished with clear glaze (not underneath). Ceramics are breakable, however this piece is strong and unless dropped hard or smashed, it should stay intact.
