A palette cleanse
...
Through the lens I see,
A bright future waiting for me,
Peeking through the keyhole,
Looking through the door,
Exciting possibilities that I didn't notice before.
I move towards the mystery,
I step into the dark,
Walking through the void.
Forming freely,
Learning keenly,
Pushing clay and myself further away from my comfort core.
Walking through the mysterious portal,
Excited,
Enticed,
Explorative,
Adventurous,
Curious,
Eager.
What awaits out there for me?!
I'm moving to it, and it moves towards me.
Deep mysterious moments,
Letting loose,
Breaking free,
Learning more about me.

What is really intriguing to me right now are these loosely-formed sculptural shapes I am making out of clay (technique inspired by watching a ceramics workshop recently by Gustavo Perez).

They are nothing specific... they are for nothing or no-one specific... they just feel so good, fluent and mysterious to me right now - and this I trust.
It feels like I am cleaning my palette, adjusting, clearing the table, and resetting myself artistically.
I LOVE raptors, but raptors have been my sole creative focus for close to 5 months, so to reset with a non-recognisable form feels like a artistic clean out.
I feel super intrigued by the holes and doorways within this piece. The honed vision, the key-hole peeking, the mystery of what sits on the other side.

Something exciting is brewing.... and although it is hard to tell what it will look like in my life at this point - there is something magical and motivating about that.
All possibilities exist. As do all potentials.
The canvas is blank, however new colours, lines and forms are forming.
I feel like the Master Creator of my life right now.... literally sculpting these forms that are deeply touching me.
There is much to say, but nothing to say.

This all sits inside very deeply and mysteriously.... I run towards it, I am thirsty for the unknown. I am hungry for growth. And the best place for me to find that right now is in the depths of my emotions, thoughts and creative expressions.
