Day 3 – 7 August 2022
Just a short writing today.
I only had 2hrs in my Art Residency Art Studio today, and this was spent preparing and mapping out the composition of my next piece.
Two others still sit unfinished, however I can work on those this weekend at the annual Bullock and Heritage Festival, that'll take place in the street in front of me.
Today I am very inspired and deeply touched by a feeling of teamwork that I experienced yesterday. The band organisation I am apart of had their annual Gala Concert.
At a time when there appears to be much divide in the world – I am wondering if this is the nature of politics - it has been heart-warming to come together to celebrate music.
Based on this I intended on creating a group of Black Swans for my next piece to portray the teamwork and companionship I have been feeling.
