From the editor:
January has been an exciting month of big clay workshops, kids groups and the start of our three month Paint n Sip Session trial. The first session on Hand Fish was lots of fun and the artwork produced was fantastic. It’s great to see some bookings coming in for our next two sessions from locals and people as far away as Hobart already. If you would like to see these sessions continue, please support them while they’re on trial.
Our first full, term 1, Kids Art Club, is open now for registrations. Space is limited. It runs from Tues 10 Feb till Tues 14 April, every Tuesday from 3.30-4.30pm (unavailable Tues 24 Feb only). Only $10 per session and most materials are provided. Suitable for school age children. Contact the gallery or reply email to register.
I’ve recently opened up tickets for our two major clay workshops for 2026. Both are 3 x days duration. The first, in June, is making an intricate Faery House Lantern. The second, in September, is making an all-in-one Bird Bath. Both are suitable for beginners. Details on them can be found below.
Entries have just opened for our upcoming group exhibition WINTER WONDERLAND – see below.
Richard Klekociuk will be hosting his annual exhibition with us called TREASURED. It runs from Fri 6 March till Wed 1 April, with the public opening event on Sun 8 March, 2.30pm start. Richard will be hosting a free info session on Sat 14 March. If you are interested to learn more or attend, please contact the gallery to reserve your space.

Now showing: Folklore Faeries – Faerie Folk from the Enchanted Garden with works by Penny Halton-Hulbert and Oliver Patch. Exhibition concludes on Wed 4 Feb.
Coming up: Size Does Matter – small framed & unframed artworks by Wendy Galloway, Julie Wickham, Lee-Anne Peters, Richard Klekociuk, Ruth Bosveld and Narelle Badalassi. There is no opening event for this pop-up exhibition. Exhibition duration: Fri 6 Feb until Wed 4 Mar.

I’ve tried to create different options, on different days of the week and times of the afternoon to see if something may appeal and suit you - if you’re interested in such an activity.
The bookings to these trial sessions will help me determine if there is enough interest to continue and refine these sessions moving forward.
They are BYO drinks and snacks.
Sessions are guided step-by-step, or if you’d like to go at your own pace, you certainly are welcome to.
