Arts & Craft Newsletter - Campbell Town Tasmania - January 2025

___
From the editor:
We’ve had an exciting month of activity and creativity in our new Art Hub at Harmony on High Street, Campbell Town.
Our regular Campbell Town Art & Craft Group met at our new headquarters, and we’re settling into bringing our own activities now (BYO) and this makes it lighter and easier for everyone.

In December I introduced a monthly Soft Pastel Drawing Group, and a Pencil Drawing Group that both went very well. Both of these groups are on trial. We don’t need big numbers to continue. I am looking more for quality than quantity. So even if two people are keen to continue we can do so, this will all be decided together at the last trial sessions in February.

At the end of this newsletter, you will find the calendar of upcoming events in January – both ongoing and one-off. This will also be printed out so you can find it at Harmony on High Street for your reference.

I understand very well that not everyone is interested in art and creative activities – as we all like different things. With that in mind I am truly thrilled by the individuals who are stopping in to chat and participate in our activities from the East Coast, Launceston and from the Southern Midlands. Many children and adults are actively creating with me, or are showing me their artwork photos.

It’s up to those of us who are interested to keep the arts alive in our area. Cory and I trust that what we are generating in our town can help contribute to that.

Wishing you a Happy New Year!
Lee-Anne Peters

SPIRIT GUIDE DRAWINGS – in person
Since 2005 I have been drawing spiritual art - as spirit guides - for many hundreds of people around the world, also in Tasmania and Sydney at events and expos.
For the first time ever I am thrilled to let you know that you can now book your very own Spirit Guide Drawings with me at Harmony on High Street Campbell Town in person.
If this interests you, I will be connecting with you, and drawing for you using soft pastels, on large coloured art paper. Sessions are 45-60mins in duration and include 5-10min guidance and info about your drawing (bring your mobile to audio record your message).
These are a great visual support to help prompt you forward, out of your stagnation and into a more meaningful life. A lot can be revealed about you - including your strengths and weaknesses in a drawing - which can be extremely beneficial on a personal level.
Ask us about these in store, or you can learn more / book online at https://www.templeofbalance.com.au/.../drawing-for-you...
All sessions will need to be booked in advance.
If this is something you might be interested in, then I very much look forward to working with you in the future, Lee-Anne
