Arts & Craft Newsletter - Campbell Town Tasmania - May 2026

Edition 26 | May 2026

From the editor:

We have a growing number of live concerts and fun events happening in our region. The Church in Campbell Town has committed to hosting monthly markets – with food and live music on the final Sunday of each month + Sun 17 May. Riches & Wood a violin and guitar duo will be playing in the old Cleveland Chapel on Sun 3 May, 2pm. Details to these can be found below on our calendar.

Pam Lockwood – a talented and professional watercolour artist from Latrobe will be exhibiting with us in June. In conjunction with this Pam is offering 2 x watercolour workshops. One will be on landscapes and the other flowers. Minimum numbers are required to make it worthwhile for Pam. See our calendar below for further details.

Our Art & Craft group has been going for over 2yrs now, and this year especially, numbers have dwindled, therefore, we will be discussing the future of this free community gathering on Tues 12th May, 10am-12pm. If you would like to see this stay, it is recommended you attend and be a part of the conversation.

There won’t be a Paint n Sip session in May. It returns on Thu 18 June.

We look forward to our first Painting Retreat of this year which is happening on 23 + 24 May. Our muse will be the Red Bridge. We still have some spaces to this if it might interest you.

Cory and I thank you sincerely for your support over the summer period. We have now moved into our winter hours and will be open daily from 9am-4pm.

Winter time is a fabulous time to create!

Lee-Anne Peters
