Arts & Craft Newsletter - Campbell Town Tasmania - October 2025

Edition 19 | October 2025

From the editor:

Currently we are preparing for our big 1st Birthday weekend on Sat 22 & 23 November. Our group exhibition HARMONY will open. Artist demos are being finalised, as are clay workshops and other activities. We hope you will be able to visit us for this exciting weekend and see what we have been doing over this last twelve months.

Over the next week or so we’ll see an influx of kids and families in our Art Hub for our regular school holiday activities. We’ve our popular Clay Play hour-long session for adults and kids, plus a more advanced pottery class (sculpt a chook) for adults, but also children who have clay experience, and this holidays we are doing a ‘spooky’ theme Paint & Play. This is popular for children and it is great to see them become so focused on their illustrations, colour choice and finishing their artwork.

Soon I will be announcing my 2026 Winter Painting Retreat details. There are a few logistical changes from this year, but the painting will still be fun, explorative and welcoming. Dates to mark in your diary are: Sat 24 + 25 May, and Sat 8 + 9 Aug.

Our next group exhibition – HARMONY: the balance of things, has now opened for entries. Scroll down below for the online entry link and details.

If you are interested in Christmas or Birthday parties with us, or if you would like to meet multiple families or friends in town for some clay fun, or perhaps you have some other ideas – it doesn’t hurt to ask. Let us know if you’d like us to host something special for you. We will also consider out-of-hours activities.

To receive the .pdf version of this newsletter straight into your inbox, please drop us an email at harmonyonhighstreet@gmail.com - or call into the gallery for a paper version of the calendar.

Thanks for your support and we hope to see you in October,

Lee-Anne Peters
