We will focus our wanderings around the old St Michael's Church (1857) in King St, Campbell Town- a short walk from our workshop location. Here you can photograph and sketch out your ideas and inspirations to take back to our warm and open workshop space to map out our composition and plan on canvas. Exploring colour, shape and lines you will apply some layers of paint and - depending on your skill level and the time available, intricate detail can be added.
Suitable for open-minded beginners, young adults, intermediate and advanced artists

Please bring:
- An apron or old shirt
- Your favourite brushes (some will be provided)
- Lunch, for Saturday
- Stretched canvas (any size, no larger than 60cm in any direction) - There will be some options available to purchase on the day. Beginners: it is recommended you work with a smaller rectangular shape canvas about 30x40cm. Large canvas' can be overwhelming for beginners. Advanced artists are encouraged to try other canvas shapes, like 60x30cm.
- Unipin finer liner pack (of 3) for fine added detail - from Officeworks approx $12
- Table or floor easel (if you have one, not compulsory)
- Sketch book
- Jacket and warm clothing for outside muse-searching
- Your phone or tablet for your painting reference

ABOUT LEE-ANNE
Lee-Anne has been exploring art in many forms since high school in the late 1980's. She has been a full time professional artist for over twenty one years specialising in soft pastel, acrylic, ceramics and pencil. Lee-Anne is self taught and has practical, intuitive, down-to-earth, and easy to understand methods of bringing her inspirations to life through art. Lee-Anne has been hosting creative events, private sessions and retreats online and in person regularly for over twenty one years. She is the resident artist and owner (with her husband) of Harmony on High Street (Gallery & Art Hub) in Campbell Town.
