The serpent twists,
It turns and frightens.
It represents our fear,
Our inability to proceed,
The paralysis of action.
It weaves,
It teases,
Testing our strength,
Stroking our weakness.
Then, we look the fear in the eyes,
We start to strengthen ourselves.
The serpent subdued,
The fear reduced.
We stand tall now,
Ready to face, ready to act,
Ready to walk through the fear,
To walk through the pit of snakes.
To overcome and conquer,
To see that we are much stronger than the fear led us to believe.
It doesn’t stop us,
It strengthens us!
