From the editor:
Cory and I had a short break in July and focused on painting our front floor area for part of the break. It’s turned out really well and adds a freshness as you enter into the gallery.
Currently we are open to receiving applications for individuals, small or larger groups to hold a 27-day long exhibition with us across 2027. Applications close at the end of this month. Thank you to all of the children and their parents for joining me for term 1 / term 2 of our Kids Art Club. We are taking a break for term 3 and will return in Oct for term 4.
Again, I will be at the upcoming Heritage & Bullock Festival at Oatlands offering visitors of all ages the opportunity to play with some clay. Grab some clay from the Clay Pile, pull up a chair and make anything you like. Leave it behind on the Clay Pile for us all to enjoy, or you can have it kiln fired for a small fee per/kg. You’ll find me all weekend (8+9 Aug) in the Gay St Hall.
Don’t miss the Derwent Valley’s Bridge art prize. It is currently open for entries around the theme Load Bearing. This is a great art prize for all skill levels and ages with junior levels.
